She goes by the name Mutumia..
So a it was pretty regular Saturday for me, except I had to wake up a little earlier (8:30 am) than I usually do, pick up a friend, visit the post office among the many kurandarandings by the time I was done it was like four, had to tighten up my do, ..lol it was a coincidence that I was on cusp of my cycle, so got that out of the way, rushed to the crib( I admit I had kidogo butterflies), found goons in the house so we caught up with the days happening and the usual heckling, then I realized I had to holla at mutumia , so I called her wapi, she did not pick up so I left her a message to call her back, around 7:30 I call her she tells she got back and she was on way (kutoa vumbi) so I gave the details and we were to meet in downtown at 10pm E.T.
I was going with few friends and fam so naturally we supposed to use one ride, but my bro is not to huge on partying scene, so we had to drive in two different cars, so I rode with my boy WB, so off we were around 9:50 called her again she was already there, she told me she would be getting coffee, struck me as odd but hey I let it slide. Got there around 10:05, as we were parking I'm looking inside the dunkin' donuts, nothing so got off went inside still no one a few dudes one covered like it was hailstorm coming, so I was like yaani she got lost? Called her told her I was outside, she walked out.Stop the press!! I Let out a wolf howl!! Auuuuu!! of course not detected by the human ear, but I had to front like I was composed. Mutumia is a very attractive chic not mention this Ahem and Mmhh . Aco aka Mr. Mutumia you good, this one you will have to do an expensive wedding..ha ha ha. She looked around and I knew that was her so I went like 'weka simu chini' Mutumia? Hugs were exchanged after which I relaxed, she has this certain aura, my butterflies were gone as soon as I gave her the hug, kinda like I felt we had met before, of course my rehearsed quips (what else do you use mirrors for?) were on point, she is generous I tell you, for once my jokes were funny.
Small talk ensued, which I then asked if she would like to go in. We got to the door gave the tickets, after a few minutes of her exchanging pleasantries at the door, she knew almost everyone. We got in looked around then decided we would sit just below the dj booth near the bar, where we could get our arap-SIP-toni(tm Mutumia) on, introduced her to my friends. After few minutes of small talk I had to leave kidogo to let some more of my friends in I had their tickets. I came back sat down next to her, after a few minutes I asked what she wanted to drink, she was like since I;m driving so far I'd rather conserve that 1 drink i.e. I'm not getting that drunk tonight, around 10:20 the movie director stood up gave us run down of the movie, and the awards it has won. Ten minutes later the movie started. The movie commentary thing was very respectful to the other people around, of course some of the commentary was in response to questions, don't believe all that wikipedia info she is peddling, lies all lies. The movie was great I loved it. After the movie ended we were rudely treated to some half-hearted rapping by some dude claiming to be an oldschool head he killed the entire vibe I mean, after watching Bamboo, Kama, Big mike, doobiez kill it, I thought dude would have wanted out" like change the record there is now way we go after them"(Roots). Luckily for us we had to endure only three cuts thank lord! *aside during the movie a picture of prezzo flashed and she happened to catch me sneering and smh'ing in disgust (thank god dude was on there for only 30 secs) ..lol she then proceeded to accuse me of being drunk on Haterade..*.
I agree that Kenyan gathering is not the best place to meet, we were interupted enough times, Hilarious moment of the night: there is this one time her stalker came and decided he was not leaving after a whole ten minutes I think he went to bathroom when he came back I was already there catching up, the look I got, had the dude looking at me like I was "cock-blocking", now that was one patient gentleman he stood there for like whole half an hour, but my "Offensive-Linemen did a good job of protecting the QB(mutumia)" david carr would envy the protection'. Despite the nterruptions we did have a grand ol' time. Although I did not get to show her my moves on the dance floor, *sigh* all that practice for nothing.... oh well some other time I guess.
Overall
I enjoyed my self much and would not hesitate to do it again, she is fun to be around she is funny, you could just tell she has jokes galore, when there is no much noise.
