Nah not by me...but ranging from some seriously depraved, sick people out there to funny funny anecdotes to sad stories

ala Nicko

"i was like 10 yrs old and on a basketball team, so i made a shot in panic and i made it, but it was the wrong basket. doing this made me feel like an idiot, but doing this twice made me feel like a goddamn retard.i never played basketball again" .search = basketball

Total IGNORANCE

One assembly, our deputy headteacher was talking about how great Nelson Mandela was. It pissed me off so much I wrote him an annonymous letter, asking why he thought a murderer was a good role model for young adults. The following assembly was a huge uproar with him getting overly emotional about the disrespect someone had shown him. Well, if he is going to appreciate a killer, it's his own fault. And I don't care. search mandela

PREACH

I am an African-American woman. I love to be around my people. We have hella fun! I hate being around my people sometimes. I hate it because blacks are judged as a group and not as individuals. If one of your blacks do it, all of you will do it! I work in an office made up of mostly black women (lordhelpme). Yet, I understand my sistas. Black women are the backbones of their families, we usually support our sisters, brothers, mothers, grandmommas, our kids and take on the role of mom and dad. Our race doesn't believe in counseling, anti-depressants and heaven forbid if a black woman gets depressed. If a black woman is depresssed, she's considered lazy, weak, sorry. If we say, we want to seek counseling - we are just lazy, we can handle it, or we need to go to church or pray or simply Get Over It! Black women are sometimes bitter, because our fathers weren't in the picture, nor our kids fathers. With the stress of raising a family, working, putting up with the shit of the world, being used by black men, we become bitter and defensive. so to not, go down that road again. BLACK WOMEN, quit spoiling these black boys, make them respect women, be responsible, say plz and thank you. Quit listening to rap/hip hop around these boys , quit letting them look at these damned videos. His father ain't there and these rappers are raising our boys, who will one day date our girls. STOP THE CYCLE!!!!!! Teach that being caught with a book in their hand, aint criminal, to open the door for a woman. BLACK MEN quit running out when times get tough. It's all about family. Quit making babies, that you can't take care of. BLACK MEN BE MEN!! STAND UP!! RAISE YOUR KIDS!! HELP THAT woman!! But the sad part about it is, if you are a black man/woman, girl/boy reading this, that means you have regular access to a pc. Most of my people are in the hood, with no pc's, still stuck in the hood and THE CYCLE WILL CONTINUE! To everyone, black women have it hard, not because we chose to, because the cycle repeated itself. Help a young black girll! She will in turn, make better decisions and she and her husband will raise a boy one day with the same values. My father didn't live with me none of my years and my childs father doesn't live with him. Why? they were and are cowards. They don't know how to be men! To take care of a woman, his family, a household. So, to all you non-black women. We have alot to bitter for, if you ain't blk.You dont understand. I want to give some insight. Listen to that bitchy blk woman at work, hear her pain. That don't mean to kiss her azz, but just dont judge! HELP A YOUNG BLK GIRL, PLZ!!! We need solid two parent families. I AM PISSED BECAUSE I HAVE ONE KID AND MY KIDS DAD, IS AFRAID TO BE A MAN AND HE'S 30 AND I AM 30 OUR CHILD IS 10. TO AFRAID TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE! WE BROKE UP 3 MOS. AGO. GOD, IN JESUS NAME, PLEASE HELP ME RAISE MY CHILD, BE THAT VOICE OF REASON IN MY CHILDS LIFE AND FILL THE VOID, MY CHILD IS SURE TO HAVE JUST LIKE MILLIONS OF OTHER BLACK KIDS!!!! ... I'm just saying though.... ..search= african american.

Now we know what you get upto when you are in that 'job' that you so often insist you have, which you havent, but of course you have... ok.

Madness aside - that was some pretty funny stuff out there - I should start unleashing some madness like that too and scare people - oh, wait, I already do.

Welcome back to the loony bin Msanii - membership renewed for another year! *kiss*

Ha ha ha I too shangaad at the 'licking his toes' bit. On the misogyny of a lot of Hip Hop, it is truly sad when black women are objectified, made to sound like 'commodities' and worse when black women in the music industry conform or reinforce those nasty sterotypes. I think African Hip Hop is different (more positive) in its attitude towards women

Long live BLACK in all it's shades & hues. True that Black women have it really rough most times & yes, many times Black men (not just here in the US of A)aren't giving the much-needed support & understanding. It's happening around the world & we have to stop the vicious cycle.

I at times got mad at babygal for her unintended anger but with time got to understand that like many Af.Amrican girls the current's not always in her favor & scales seem to tip the other way. Thanks for sharing Msanii.

PS: Deal has just been done, check ur mailbox for that fire from Blitz!

PPS: Am at a crossroads since I am who will let my kid(s) listen to all music by Bob Marley & Tupac..yes the uncensored versions too/especially. I was raised on Bob Marley, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, The Tempaations, The O'Jays, Roberta Flack, Celia Cruz etc and although there were no expletives there I drew lots of inspiration from it.

I just have to be extra careful not to let my kid(s) corrupted by the environment bcoz there's no playing the fool at home:))
