Hold up...alot done happened while i was away. Let me see... uhhmm visited Kenya for the umpteenth time since my relocation to Delhi. I mean y'all can't understand how a hiphop cat reps it all the way in "Gupta Land" but hey my culture is universal so stay puzzled. The closest they got is rap and 50 cent which they often mistake for hiphop. Yes also the current version of Mobb deep who were on tour last winter,
I broke bread with Trevor Riek when in pocket, catching up on how's tricks over here. Then duty called in Manhattan, am writing a book on my life experiences as a mixed blood n this planet so called earth,. That why I had to get in touch with my funders.
Look at what happened while I was away. Muki, Mwaf and Dj Zaq quit Wapi .A day before the calamity, I was on the phone with Garang and he gave a brief insight on what really made him walk out of his own idea. Personally I think Muki should have been fast enough to put a name and tag on his idea before Jack the Ripper crept behind and did.
From what he told me, he was led on like a biach, every time he raised the issue, about getting compensated for his idea, he was flooded with fake promises, which is quite typical of them, to blind you before they pounce, Black man always the prey, yeha I said it!. I mean they have already fucked the world up and recently, their prime minister said the Invasion in Iraq was directed by the "Power of God". Now Iraq is a totally fucked unlike Muki though who is still holding his head up but I know inside he must be fucked as well. Its not easy to deal with such.I wonder how these people sleep at night. It's similar to what Immortal technique asked Condoleeza Rice. "I wonder how you sleep at night, the devil must tuck you in real tight!"
Thing is Jack the ripper and all their allies should be worried about the world they bring their children up in. If that's the manner in which they treat a brother. Who will treat theirs with respect?
All hiphop fans should be able to realize basically hiphop is out of WAPI so there is nothing they can attach themselves to rep over that hood called the beefing capsule! Ynahmean?

Hip-hop died a while back, people just keep grave-robbing it coz apparenlty it ws buried with a lot of bling.
Msanii, next time put the disclaimer up first. I went into a slight shock wondering how you moved to Delhi that fast when we were talking about final four just the other day.

Great ideas never die, if WaPI is meant to prevail on it's on then let it fly...it shall come back. As for hip hop it shall live on forever... to the robbed-brainchildren of WaPI greater ideas are yet to be born! We'll be there to support.

Aww my people..what i love black people about..the children of the sun,is because they are always at par with the truth..protected by the sun god himself, their skin is able to contain his fiery rays!!! and enables them through time to take the fiery rays from oppressors as well...thank you for your reflected empathy...its like hiphop was never meant to LIVE! For those who want to attend WAPI they can continue but hiphop is not alive there anymore...Am loving this blog and its posters..Msanii i will be checking in from Manhattan down to yo state before heading to Delhi...peace Kavi Mareechi Full black half Indian

The first thing I notice everytime I enter British Council (WAPI location) is the fact that Mwaf, Zack, or Muki are missing.
But then, if theydon't let us know the issues, then we assume that basically, all is good.
First of all, we can't leave Wapi. It's not a place, it's an Idea. And Muki should fight for his idea.
honestly, it this ideas was to fail, those 'people' that you are not naming, will disown it coz it was never theirs to begin with.
then we'll be stuck with the bullshit that we have on radio. (R.I.P. To Mwaf's previous Radio Show...which disappeared in a similar manner too.)
WAPI is not dead yet. The people are going to notice the fact that these are missing say after 3-4 months, and by then, this issue will be a huge mess.
I beseech you, Muki, Mwaf, Zack, and any other decision makers in this whole thing- fight.
Wapi is our monthly return to sanity and Hip Hop. It's our retreat. Don't let it go.
Fight for it. Fight for Hip Hop.
Please.

The June WaPI occured, and the thing was OK. It seems the remnants of the organization can gather enough hype, performers and publicity to guarantee a 'successful' show.
Now what?
Do we sit back and wait for this cancerous beef to grow, and then later explode in our faces?
What are Mwaf, Muki & Zak up to? Surely they can't be brooding somewhere, waiting for it to die in their absence....or are they?
Thanks for letting us air our dirty laundry on your site, Msanii.

@Anon..i Believe they are looking at other things at the moment, Not brooding at all matter of fact all this is learning experience to them.
Not at all feel free to drop your thoughts whateva time you feel like.
