Has had me excited as hell...mad cats are sprouting, confident as well that they can do this emcee thing. Not to mention Myspace is helping the "movement" major, its great thing that cats are about showing and proving..they are past believing that they can spit and rhyme with the best of them..
First up get ya regular fill of hip hop from mamaland..at African hip hop radio they are back with new episode of their 'monthly' show.
Next up peep yours truly on German public radio ...I did podcast on strictly hip hop from K.E. and I hope I repped it ably and well if ya can spare few minutes the show will come on..Tomorrow 2pm Eastern(US) time. The crew Shida mingi has been had at work in the studio...will be putting out a mixtape 'Decolonising The Mind', I can honestly say this mixtape is about growth far as emceeing and concepts...subject matter was never question and the line-up is crazy too, got some KE's illest on the mixtape.
Finally a cat I have been bumping to all weekend and some....although sometimes he might tend to sound like the numerous mixtape emcees, i have been giving it regular spins maybe as i digest completely scope might switch up...and adjust the focus..
Ironafrican all the way in Scandanavia via UG visit and peep his drop and some snippets , I just picked his album III World Animal, so far standouts for me 'Truth', 'Who da Animal' and 'Guantanamo'

@Afro..woi pole I got your email, I haven't lengad it. K'naan is great! i went to his concert in DC last year it was great..and prior to that I had listened to the album...I like his music a lot and pia I have played him on thepodcasts two or three times so as you can see I'm not sleeping on him...LOL, look out for an interview with BNTS coming up...
@ Makanga..shoulder leanin'..WB are them cats, and STL is proper too would like to hear in more better beats..

The live broadcast of BNTS 5 made my Tuesday afternoon man, that's some raw mix you have out & all the tracks are of the knockers! Really enjoyed the show.
I know this one's a bigger door opener for you. Will stay tuned, q-tips in hand, lol!
This post reads like an encyclopedia of the 'who's who' in Motherland HipHop Rap. Good to see some MCs whose work am kinda familiar with while the rest of them gifted bredren & sitren am mos def going to give a read & a listen.
Big up to the Shida Mingi crew, still requesting that collabo with Blitz on their behalf.
