Currently reading The White Man's Burden by William Easterly, great book so far I'm enjoying myself thoroughly. I like the way he potrays the failure of 'Big Plan/s' as an idea with Noble Intentions which does not ultimately work. He also mentions Jeffrey Sachs ideas...and their ineffectiveness(is this a word?). Either way this is a good read if can pick it up, please try and do so.
I had been surfing when I came across, this article that reflected what I had been feeling after watching one of the many sports talk shows in particluar 'Sports Reporters', they have this two columnists(Ryan and Lupica) on there who when talking about Bonds you can actually see their veins popping, mouth frothing just plain ol' sickening saltine display of haterade, it is way beyond opinion almost, Obsessive compulsive behaviour..either way this is not about Bonds but a bunch of sports code words, It struck a chord with me...
especially the Ewing and Stockton comparison.. anyway enjoy.

Agreed. X-Men was superb. Watched it twice that same weekend. Second time because I hadn't seen the scene after the credits. The movie was so good, it was worth paying for and sitting through a second time. And yes, Vinnie Jones was great.
British gangster movies a la Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrells and Snatch. Love them. Too funny.

YUP XMEN# was better than all the other 2...more powers more action...and damn right if u dont like their characters have them killed...poor prof

You are not alone 'tato. Even before I saw that last scene, I knew at once this thing had all the makings of a sequel. If we are disappointed, cest la vie. If not, well, more X-Men! And yes, I agree with you on this one being better than the other 2. I have yet to watch them a second time.

I read an article about Easterly, now I've got to get that book. Bonds will go down in history for his athletic talent despite all the controversy surrounding him. I'm curious about how much the home-run balls 714 and 715 will be worth. X-Men is not my kind of movie, maybe I'll try it. I've heard great things from some fans.

X men was OFF THE HOOK! The chic in me could not help but wish the prof was like somehow brought to life at the end or something... lol.... lakini it was good. Of course there will be a sequel. Si some marketing exec said there will be mpaka X men 10... so sit back and enjoy!!!
World Cup..... hhhmm... I'll sit back and wait mpaka it progesses kidogo then I will start watching...... like I do all sports....

@Gnd its a pretty good book, i like the way he doesn't pretend to have all the answers and makes sure to point out each problem has its own unique solution. About Bonds I agree...one of the guys who caught the ball says he doesn't like bonds..LOL give it back then you punk!.
@Buff aka ms tato'..yes it was a Good movie, i was sad when prof died, elated by the time i left the movie..lol.

The White Mans's Burden, could this be the book that inspired the movie by Harry Belafonte? I think it was filmed abt 2-3yrs ago? Will mos def pick it up.

Barry Bonds breaking all them records is making some haters foam at the mouth,huh. They just take it for what it is...can't deny good talent.

Mabo neighbor? Book langa that I am ...I bought that book (but do I say? ) after the Githongo thingie as it came highly recommended by a cute jamaa who was at the thing ---correction--- a very cute jamaa!! PS NOT Githongo).... I'm still in like p. 36 though...
