Wax Tailor, Tales of the forgotten Melodies

Picked this up a few months ago, but just started listening to this, blew me away. Album that came out in 05' from French cat that goes by the name Wax Tailor. I'm huge fan of instrumental albums, this not an instrumental album in the mode of hip hop, it does combine other elements, copy and paste movie dialogues, scracthes and an overall cinematic hip hop-ish experience. Not all tracks have singer/emcees on them matter of fact only four tracks involve the latter. Also most of the tracks have down-tempo feel to it, I love down tempo pretty relaxing music, always go to bed while listening to it...

Anyway as I was saying, stand out tracks for me are 'Que Sera', I absolutely love how the track starts before the bassline kicks in, another track that does it for me is 'how do I feel' which uses Nina Simones' vocals. 'Our dance' is another one that I like.

Que Sera is a heavy tune. been indulging myself in instrumental hip hop. nothing beats it.
