Apparently we are trying to be consistent again, episode 9 is here for your listening pleasure, lend us an ear, because the mix is head nodding as ever. Great line up, 'Si hisaa', one of the better tracks in the 'Anga banga' album, Prolly the illest hov AG remix, those drums on Beirut roc boys remix are crazy. I have habit of ooding on tracks Beirut's 'sweet' remix is amazing, and truthfully I never gave 'Hello Brooklyn' a proper listen till this Grinehouse remix ..dooope nmh, their mix of blue magic is fiyah as well.
I had to up that instru that was on 'ustaarabu joint...Had to give love to the Zimbabwe legit dudes were doing it in the early nineties , nice to hear from them. The nako2nako track is dope as well, pleasant surprise to hear pfunk still making tracks. 'On da mic' by Landmynz is dope...straight boom bap.

wasup hope you had a good holiday. I just came from one of the Nu-Metro shops and got myself Mashifta Classics, Nairobbery & Nairobizm. Those are my personal treats for the new year. I have searched for Anga Banga bila success. I met Abbas sometime when he just moved to Ngong Road and tried to have him get me the album its now 6 months and am yet to get it. I lost my Volume II the Nyati Houze Flavour but am getting it soon as my contact guy resurfaces. If you can help with Anga Banga, I would be grateful.
Listening to the Mashifta Classics, I realized how great Mangirima was and wished they could do a video. This trak is a classic and die hard fans will always nod their heads to it. I also consider this to be the last time Nazizi spit fire.
What happened to Watuele and this other group called Gangwe Mob? I fear that Kshaka is no longer a three cat supergroup. I suspect Johnie is never into what goes on. I have been working on the theory for one year will soon spill it in my blog.
